How it all began

Hi my name is Emily, and I'm the face behind 'Thistle & Fern'. I'm a fully qualified Florist with over 7 years of experience of working within the Floristry industry. I took the opportunity during lock-down to make my dream a reality, and started up my own family run floristry business working from a private studio in Rayleigh, Essex. I currently run Thistle & Fern alongside the occasional help from my parents during weddings & other peak seasons.

I absolutely adore flowers and always have done ever since I was a child. When you contact T&F for any wedding enquiries, I’m the one who goes through your consultation process with you & personally designs all your gorgeous bespoke wedding florals. On the morning of your wedding I’ll hand deliver your wedding bouquet to you; demonstrate how to use it and not leave the venue until all your flowers are absolutely perfect right down to the smallest detail!

Becky is absolutely amazing when it comes to wedding fairs, helping me prep and make up a big wedding and helping me to set up your florals at the venue. 

Sean is our additional delivery driver when it comes to peak periods and helps us set up large weddings.
